大相撲初場所で大関からの
陥落が決まった豪栄道（33＝境川）が27日、
引退の意向を固めたことが分かった。
この日までに師匠の境川親方（元小結両国）が、
日本相撲協会に豪栄道の引退の意向を伝えた。
年寄資格審査委員会などの
手続き完了後に正式に引退が決定する。
9度目のかど番だった初場所12日目に、
新関脇の朝乃山に負けて大関からの陥落が決まった。
