２カ月ぶり遠投
１９日ブルペン入り
ヤクルトのドラフト１位・奥川恭伸投手
（１８）＝星稜高＝が１７日、埼玉・戸田球場で、
軽度の右肘炎症と診断された
１月の新人合同自主トレ以来、
約２カ月ぶりに遠投を行った。
「久々です。ボールの軌道と伸び、
スーっていく感じが良かった。
前よりも上手になっていて、うれしかった」
高校時代は遠投が苦手だったという
最速１５４キロ右腕。宮崎・西都キャンプ中の
２月２２日に初のブルペン投球を行い、
すでに６度の投球練習をこなしているが、
肘の状態も順調で、遠投再開に踏み切った。
この日は外野でゴロやフライを捕球した後に、
６０－７０メートルの距離で力強い球を投げた。
前日１６日には高津監督が
４月中の実戦デビューを示唆した。
次なる目標が明確となり、
昨夏の甲子園準Ｖ右腕は
「（気持ちは）高まりますね。
焦っているわけじゃなく、いけそうな感じはします」
と目を輝かせた。
１９日に再びブルペンに入る予定。
ここまでは直球のみの投球だったが、
キャッチボールでは変化球の感触も試しており、
こちらもゴーサインが出る日が近そうだ。

この時期にこんなことで喜んでいるようでは
シーズンに入って投げても直ぐ壊れてしまう。
チームの育て方が下手なのか
それとも最近の選手がひ弱なのか分からないが
有名で騒がれた選手ほど直ぐに壊れてしまう。
なのでこの時期にこれで喜んでいるようでは
彼の将来はあまり良いとは言えない。
オープン戦前に状態を悪くして
もう２ヶ月以上が経過してこの様、
彼を見てたら寺島とダブる、ため息連発だ。
ただワタシは２軍に落ちた時点で既に諦めているので
落胆はしていないが腹立たしい。
彼ももしプロレベル以上の活躍がレベルに達するなら
最終的にはあと２〜３年は要するだろう。
２〜３週間で治ると思ったが残念だ、
フジテレビは彼のカメラまで用意して
大騒ぎしていたのにお疲れ様だ、
全て無駄にならないように祈っている。
